Bloody river leads to abattoir fine
Anglesey abattoir Owen G Owen has been fined £2,000 with costs of £575 after waste spreading operations polluted the river Elwy. Denbigh magistrates heard the company plead guilty to causing polluting matter to enter the river on 6 August.
