SRI community presses for stronger disclosure rules

Companies would face a further increase in environmental pressure from investors if Ministers act on proposals tabled in response to the Government's pensions Green Paper. The UK Social Investment Forum wants a duty on trustees to disclose every year how they take account of environmental and social risks - and is also pressing for changes to the rules governing companies' listing on the Stock Exchange.
