  • Agency mulls action against unregistered CRC firms

    Three organisations are facing penalties for allegedly failing to register for the Carbon Reduction Commitment (CRC) Energy Efficiency Scheme. Further fines may follow as the CRC reporting deadline looms.
  • GlaxoSmithKline sets sights on carbon neutrality

    Drug company GlaxoSmithKilne has committed to becoming carbon neutral by 2050. It has already cut emissions by 4% over the past three years, but questions remain over how it will achieve its goal.
  • Bonn UN talks fall short on climate treaty

    Mid-year climate talks in Bonn made progress on institution-building for adaptation and technology transfer, but did little to resolve the key issues blocking a new global climate treaty and to prevent the Kyoto Protocol framework from slowly unravelling.
