Cranfield University: Water quality planning and regulation, how to protect the water environment

27 April - 29 April 2015, 07 September - 09 September 2015. £585 - £975.

Three day course explaining how water quality is regulated in the EU and UK. Outlines the UK approach to permitting and compliance, and discusses the policy shift towards integrated catchment management. 

EEF: Waste management 

Various dates. £205-£240.

One day course on waste management aimed at managers/supervisors who have responsibility for ensuring that waste produced on site is managed in accordance with legal requirements and that measures are in place to comply with the waste hierarchy.  

University of Oxford:Postgraduate certificate in ecological survey techniques

September 2015. £4,525 Part-time over one year to fit alongside work commitments. 

Provides the knowledge, understanding and skills needed to conduct effective ecological field surveys for a range of key taxa and to analyse field survey data with confidence.
