Environmentalists given chance to influence Labour policy

An Environmental Policy Commission is to be launched by the Labour Party on 7 June as the next step in its plans to prepare a new environmental policy for the next election. Representatives of Britain's leading environmental groups have been given an early opportunity to influence the Commission's thinking at its first meeting.
