CCC will reassess decarbonisation role of bioenergy in UK energy mix

The Committee on Climate Change is to update its review on the role of bioenergy up to 2050.

In a call for evidence published on 18 December, the government’s advisory committee is keen to reassess sustainability and certification criteria of renewable energy since its first review published in 2011.
