LGA rejects government criticism of local authorities for failing to grab grants for charging-point infrastructure needed to boost electric vehicle uptake

Both BEIS and the Department for Transport have criticised local authorities in the UK for the “extremely disappointing” uptake of government grants aimed at boosting infrastructure for electric vehicles, a charge which the Local Government Association (LGA) has rejected.
