DfT ‘misled’ parliament over noise impact of Heathrow, say campaigners

Campaigners against a third runway have queried the noise impact of an expanded Heathrow Airport and noted limited demand for domestic routes

The government has concealed the number of people who would be affected by noise from an expanded Heathrow airport, according to campaigners the No Third Runway Coalition (N3RC). The group has called for a pause in parliament’s consideration of the airports national policy statement (NPS) until MPs “are presented with all the facts”.
