Government bodies ramp up action against plastics following 25-year plan

The Environment Agency has set up a dedicated team to tackle plastics waste, while Scotland bans plastic cotton buds and London takes aim at bottle waste

A dedicated team to tackle plastics pollution in Devon and Cornwall has been announced by the Environment Agency.

The Plastics and Sustainability team will work with businesses, councils and community groups to reduce plastic pollution on land, rivers and the ocean.
