Heathrow consults on plans for third runway and flight path design

Building a potentially shorter and cheaper third runway at London’s hub airport would still require the diversion of five rivers, says a new consultation

Heathrow airport has opened consultation on the practicalities of delivering a third runway.

The ten-week consultation opened on 17 January, alongside another on airspace management.
