Ministers summoned to Brussels over UK’s air quality failures

Environment ministers from nine EU states have been ordered to explain why they have failed to comply with air pollution limits

The European Commission is to host a summit on air quality on 30 January, in a last ditch attempt to persuade member states to take more vigorous action to cut pollution.
