Plastic water bottle use targeted in new drinking water refill campaign

Staying hydrated will become less expensive for consumers and the environment if a new campaign to extend the use of free water refill stations takes off

The national craze to ‘stay hydrated’, which sees 38.5m plastic bottles purchased and discarded in the UK every day, will soon be less costly for consumers and the environment as organisations pledge to open a network of free water refill points.
