Failure to produce waste transfer notes lands car breaker with fine

A car breaker who failed to produce waste transfer notes has been prosecuted and ordered to pay almost £4,000 for breaking duty of care rules.

Paul Tranter pleaded guilty to the charges at Merthyr Tydfil Magistrates’ Court on 24 January where he was fined £2,000 and ordered to pay £1,780.
