High Court rules against government in last round of air quality battles between DEFRA and ClientEarth

The government's air quality policies have been defeated in court for the third time.

In the High Court, in the morning of 21 February, Mr Justice Garnham ruled that the air quality plan issued by DEFRA last year was unlawful, following a renewed challenge by ClientEarth.
