Confirmation of SEPA spending squeeze

The Scottish government’s spending plans for the next financial year have passed their final parliamentary hurdle following a vote in Holyrood.

The devolved administration’s budget for 2018/19 includes an increased pot of money for environmental services, up from £146.1m in 2017/18 to £152.6m, with extra cash allocated for natural assets and flooding and land reform.
