Landfill gas firm Infinis buys out coal-gas operator

The UK’s largest generator of landfill gas, Infinis, has agreed a deal to buy the country’s largest producer of coal-mine methane, expanding its gas capacity by 160MWe.
Infinis announced the deal to take over Alkane Energy on 5 March, said to worth about £125m.
