Draft plans for a new environmental watchdog to fill the environmental governance gap when the UK leaves the EU are to be published “before third reading” of the EU (Withdrawal Bill), says Brexit minister

The delayed consultation on a new body to enforce EU environmental law and on enshrining EU environmental principles in UK law will be published before the European Union (Withdrawal) Bill enters the next stage of its passage through parliament, the government has said.
