Water firm to build solar farms up to three megawatts in size

Northumbrian Water is set to build 10 new solar PV farms across the north and south of England as part of its pledge to be totally renewable by 2022.

At the end of last month the utilities firm announced it would power all of its 1,858 sites using renewable power purchased from ├śrsted (formerly Dong Energy) over the next four years.
