Labour unveils £2.3bn a year home insulation plan

Low-income homeowners, tenants and those in social rented homes would be prioritised in an energy-efficiency programme announced by the Labour party.

In a programme costed at £2.3bn a year, Labour would provide grants to householders to insulate their homes and funding for local authorities to drive take up and delivery of energy efficiency schemes.
