Environment Agency consultation: Slowing the flow in the rivers Ouse and Foss; a long-term plan for York

‘Slowing the flow in the rivers Ouse and Foss; a long-term plan for York’ is a study looking at how river flows could be slowed and managed in areas upstream of the city to counter the effects of climate change over the next 100 years.

The EA is seeking views from partners, landowners, the public and other bodies on the general principles of the study and on the proposal for how to progress.

It is also asking if you have any current or future work proposed that might be aligned with its objectives and could be developed in partnership.
