Network Rail has agreed to stop felling trees on its land this year during the bird nesting season, after an intervention from the government.

Network Rail has agreed to stop felling trees on its land this year during the bird nesting season, after an intervention from the government.

The agreement follows revelations from Bromley Council that it issued a preservation order last year on trees growing on Network Rail land to stop them being felled by the operator.
