Nottingham City Council will not propose charging vehicles for entry as existing plans would deliver compliance with air quality standards by 2020, the council has said.

The city was one of the first to be instructed to set up a clean air zone (CAZ), in December 2015, an order which last summer was modified to delivering compliance with air quality standards by any means as soon as possible.
