The lawfulness of a decision over Natural England’s handling of hen harrier chicks will be tested in court following two legal challenges.

Natural England’s hen harrier brood management programme in and around grouse moors, introduced in January this year, has been challenged separately by the former RSPB conservation director Mark Avery and the RSPB.
