Trade union urges Environment Agency to end ‘years of pay restraint’

Environment Agency (EA) staff are calling on the executive board and chief executive to ease the public sector pay cap and reject the Treasury’s guidance on civil service pay.

The trade union Prospect said the EA should move away from the pay guidance which was issued by the Treasury in June. Departments have until the end of August to agree their pay remits with ministers.
