The European Commission’s proposal for ecodesign standards for computer servers risks being self-defeating, according to operators.

IT sector association techUK made the warning on Friday, stating that commission’s proposal would take some of the most efficient models off the market and could disrupt the EU market for data – the most mobile commodity on Earth.
