Says the UK government will introduce secondary legislation to ensure existing best available technique conclusions continue to have effect and to provide powers to adopt future conclusions in the UK. Will also put in place a process for determining future UK best available technique conclusions for industrial emissions to be developed with the devolved administrations and has sought views on the future regime through the Clean Air Strategy consultation.
