A Nottingham waste transfer firm and its company director have been ordered to pay more than £70,000 for permit violations resulting in dust pollution.

A Nottingham waste transfer firm and its company director have been ordered to pay more than £70,000 for permit violations resulting in dust pollution.

The offences, lasting at least 19 months, led to dust escaping from the firm's site in Old Basford and created odour problems for residents, businesses and a primary school.
