A High Court judge has asked the developers of Hinkley Point C to clarify its environmental impact assessment (EIA) of mud dumping off Cardiff.

NNB Generation Company (HPC) Ltd – a wholly owned subsidiary of the French energy giant EDF – plans to deposit 300,000 tonnes of mud to the subtidal sandbank and designated disposal site, Cardiff Grounds.
