Big projects in the UK are held back by “clunky regulations", according to the chief secretary to the Treasury, Liz Truss.

Truss made the remarks in a speech to the US libertarian think-tank, The Cato Institute, yesterday. In it she called for the UK to get its “mojo back” and advocated a new “wild west landscape", saying that the “Anglo-American enterprise is under attack”.
