Katowice: COP24’s meeting is sparking concerns about Poland’s potential ‘lack of oversight’

Climate change talks, held in Bangkok in a bid to streamline policy options for ministers and heads of state in preparation for the 24th conference of the parties (COP24) have concluded. The next COP will take place between 3 and 14 December in the coal-mining city of Katowice, in Upper Silesia, Poland.
