Labour has pledged to remove barriers to onshore wind construction and increase the take up of offshore wind capacity sevenfold.

Revealed at its conference today, the Labour Party has pledged to reduce greenhouse gas emissions to zero by 2050 through a raft of measures in line with the Paris Agreement goal of limiting global temperature rise to no more than 1.5C.
