Budget pressures ‘hamper work of climate advisers’

The work of the government’s climate change advisory body could be undermined due to budget cuts, according to an academic report.

The Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change and the Environment and the ESRC Centre for Climate Change Economics and Policy at LSE published its report today, arguing that UK efforts to meet its domestic and international commitments could be threatened by a lack of support from the government.
