Rewilding an option for landowners post-Brexit, say Sussex academics

Rewilding could be an attractive option for landowners across the UK by providing public goods for which they can attract payment, according to a team of experts led by the University of Sussex

By restoring an area of land through the re-introduction of wild animal species that have been driven out or exterminated, landowners could deliver “ecosystem services” like improving flood management and enhancing water quality for the government.
