If you look at our corporate sustainability agenda, I suppose the starting point would be thinking of Heathrow as a small city,” says Matthew Gorman, the airport’s veteran director of sustainability. We are meeting on the first floor of ‘The Flying Chariot’, a Wetherspoons bar, overlooking the busy but surprisingly serene check-in area at Heathrow Terminal 2.
