Wales’ finance secretary Mark Drakeford has reaffirmed the country’s’ ambition to become a leading nation in the development of marine energy.

Drakeford spoke at the Edinburgh, Ocean Energy Europe event earlier this morning citing Morlais Consent, the Marine Energy Test Area in Pembrokeshire, Bombora Wavepower and Marine Power Systems, as evidence of the Welsh government’s commitment to marine energy over the past year-and-a-half.
