The government has decided not to force large companies and asset owners to report on their exposure to climate change risks and opportunities, although green pension reforms will go ahead.

Mandatory reporting would be premature, according to this morning’s response to the Commons’ Environmental Audit Committee (EAC) report into greening finance.
