Little progress on bathing water quality

The Welsh government has said it will work with the regulator Natural Resources Wales (NRW) in a bid to tackle “any problems” with local water quality after annual bathing results for this year showed little progress on 2017 levels.

The figures, published this week, cover the official bathing season between May and September. They show that all 104 designated bathing area in Wales achieved the EU’s water quality standards.
