Public Health England (PHE) is looking into claims that the redevelopment of a large area of contaminated land in west London is affecting residents’ health.

The Clean Air for Southall and Hayes campaign says that air pollution from the 88 hectare Southall Waterside development is causing great distress. Multiple complaints have been made to the council, the Environment Agency and developer Berkeley Group.
