New water fine - total payout £500

A Dunfermline farmer has been fined £500 for his involvement in a slurry spreading operation that resulted in pollution of the Bluther Burn near Saline. As a result of the spreading a number of fish and invertebrates were killed along a five kilometre stretch of the watercourse.
