Somerset haulage firm fined for waste offence

A company has been ordered to pay £10,476 in fines and costs for illegally disposing of thousands of tonnes of waste on agricultural land near Exeter.

Minster Tippers Limited was fined £7,000 and ordered to pay £3,746 in costs at Exeter magistrates at the end of October after pleading guilty to an offence under Section 33 of the Environmental Protection Act 1990.
