Development in protected landscape contrary to national planning rules, says Natural England

A development  in the Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) has been attacked by Natural England for being contrary to rules set out in the  government’s National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF).

Natural England has objected to Quinn Estate and Highland Court’s proposed development on farmland in Bridge in Canterbury, which includes 175 holiday homes, rugby and football pitches, and a 50,000 square metre business hub.
