
Chemicals companies risk “additional costs” under a no deal Brexit, environment secretary Michael Gove told a House of Commons committee yesterday.
Gove told the Environment Food and Rural Affairs (EFRA) committee that he believed the European Union would recognise the UK as a “third country” which would remove any cliff edge, but that there would be costs associated with a no-deal Brexit.
