The UK could face higher sea levels, hotter, drier summers and more extreme weather than previously projected, according to new Met Office predictions.

The UK Climate Change Projections 2018 update the last set of forecasts, published in 2009. A range of possible outcomes are set out, based on different rates of greenhouse gas emissions. The high emissions scenario shows that summer temperatures could be up to 5.4
