Manifestos reveal how Brexit will shape green policy

The environment is unlikely to be a major topic of discussion in the looming general election but it will be heavily influenced by the result

Analysis of the main political parties’ manifestos, all of which were published in May, shows the inescapable influence of the EU, which has shaped domestic law and politics over the past 40 years and is likely to continue doing so for many years to come.
