Solar policy role for ex-Environment Agency climate manager

The Solar Trade Association has appointed the Environment Agency’s former manager on climate change as its policy lead

Chris Hewett, who oversaw the regulator’s climate change adaptation strategy between 2006 and 2009, took on the full-time post as policy manager on 5 June.

Hewett said he was delighted to be joining the STA at a “pivotal moment” for the solar and storage industries in the UK.
