Oil recyclers take EA to court over end-of-waste classification

The Environment Agency will face a judicial review of its on-end of-waste decision for re-refined oil, which the industry says is hampering investment

Waste consultancy ProTreat was granted a judicial review on 16 May, giving it the right to challenge the regulator’s decision to classify re-refined lubricating oil as waste.
