Ofgem tightens capacity market performance rules

The energy regulator is amending capacity market regulations at boosting energy security, quality of projects and fair competition

The amendments to the Electricity Capacity Regulations 2014, confirmed by an Ofgem decision on 28 June, were drawn from a suggestions mostly from stakeholders in response to a call last year.
