Waste packaging regulations to remain untouched

A post policy review governing producer responsibility regulations for waste packaging has been published advocating no further changes

The government’s post implementation review, published a week late on 7 July, was rated “fit for purpose” by the Regulatory Policy Committee which supports DEFRA’s decision to leave regulations 2 to 40 of the Producer Responsibility Obligations (Packaging Waste) Regulations 2007 untouched.
