EA founder criticises agency’s lack of independence

Lord Deben’s assessment that the EA is no longer independent and under-resourced, is causing concern as Brexit looms

Talking at a Policy Connect event on 12 July, the chairman of the Committee on Climate Change (CCC) said the previous Labour and coalition governments and the current Conservative government had “made it more and more difficult” for the EA to criticise them.
