DEFRA strengthens powers to control invasive species

DEFRA has set out a new code of practice for controlling the establishment and spread of non-native invasive species in England, giving greater powers to the secretary of state and authorities

The department consulted on the code back in December 2015 but did not publish it until 17 July this year.
